I remember being small,
a giant world I didn't feel ready for at all,
I remember all the hard lessons and rules,
feeling like adults treated us as fools,
I remember white wild flowers so tall,
collecting them roots and all-
(...and how they made my mother sneeze.)
I remember running wild and free,
until my dirty legs could barely carry me.
I remember being small,
and never once thinking I would wish for time to stall.
Thank you for reminding me of being small.

- This felt familiar, to be certain I googled it.
I did find a similar feeling poem...
that I remember, (Ha, thats it's name "I remember, I remember" by Thomas Hood)
I love it, you should go read it too,
I want to share the end of it here too :
" It was a childish ignorance,
But now ’tis little joy
To know I’m farther off from Heaven
Than when I was a boy."
That was so wonderful!
